It Works for Soup, So Why Not Give It a Try?

Is it in the Water or the Bottle?
So there I am again, at church, standing in the back because my two year old
daughter had the sudden urge to go for a walk - and a scream. Now in the back
of our church there is a small appliance that looks similar to the water
cooler in your office. However in place of the big water bottle there appears
to be a large soup pot. And inside of that soup pot is holy water.
Well now, on top of the soup pot I noticed that someone had left a small
plastic bottle. It’s the type of small plastic bottle sold at religious
stores filled with holy water. This small plastic bottle actually had the
words, “Holy Water” in gold print inscribed on the side. Someone had no doubt
purchased it at the religious store full of holy water; then used the water
and was now planning on refilling it at church. Of course, there is nothing
wrong with that.
But then, between the screeching cries of my terrible two year old, I got to
thinking; I could buy a boatload of similar bottles at the Dollar Store for
like a dollar each. If I could just get a priest to bless the bottles I could
label them, “Instant Holy Water – Just add water”.
Now before you jump onto your high horse and call me a blasphemer just think
about it. It’s a great idea! Instead of your 83 years old grandma huffing it
over to the church to refill her bottle, she could just go right to the
kitchen cabinet, pull out an empty and refill it right at the tap. It’s a
beautiful idea.
And I’m thinking, in order to get repeat business I should mark it like a
prescription bottle and say that it is only good for like 5 refills or
something. Or maybe I could just put an expiration date on it or something –
yeah that might be better. You know, "Best if used before December 07".
